Overview

Planmed Clarity+™ is Planmed’s current digital mammography system family. The manufacturer presents Clarity+ S, Clarity+ 2D and Clarity+ 3D as configurations within the same family, so they are represented here by one product record.

Configurations and imaging

Clarity+ S is a compact 2D configuration for high-volume screening. Clarity+ 2D is presented for screening and diagnostic workflows. Clarity+ 3D adds digital breast tomosynthesis for screening and diagnostics. Planmed describes upgrade and option paths by configuration; final options must be confirmed against the applicable regional product documentation.

Positioning and workflow

Planmed’s current family materials describe Clarity Flow touchscreens and positioning and workflow features including MaxView and SideAccess. GuidedBiopsy is an optional stereotactic biopsy capability associated with the system, not a separate product. The English family brochure reports DBT reconstruction up to three times faster than the previous model.
