Overview

DIAMOND is DRGEM's all-in-one U-arm digital X-ray system. Selecting an anatomical study can set generator parameters, move the radiographic stand, control collimation and apply image processing. The motorized positioning presets can be changed by the operator for local examination workflows.

Imaging and positioning

Automatic collimation adjusts the X-ray field for the selected source-to-image distance. Source-tilting stitching joins images for full-spine or long-bone studies. The flat-panel detector uses a CsI screen, while a three-field ion chamber supports optional automatic exposure control. A mobile patient table and motorized stand permit more than 15 manufacturer-described imaging positions.
