Overview

Planmed Verity is an extremity cone-beam computed tomography system designed for three-dimensional imaging of the limbs. Planmed presents it as a compact point-of-care system for orthopedic imaging.

Positioning and workflow

The motorized gantry can be adjusted in height and tilt. The manufacturer describes weight-bearing examinations of the knee, ankle, foot and toes, as well as non-weight-bearing positioning. Acquisition, reconstruction, touchscreen control and study management are integrated into the system workflow.

Imaging capability

The current English Verity brochure specifies a multi-field of view up to 16 × 20 cm and voxel sizes of 200–400 μm. Planmed also lists Planmeca Ultra Low Dose technology among the imaging capabilities.
