TOPAZ

Overview
TOPAZ is DRGEM's motorized mobile X-ray system for movement and imaging in patient rooms, intensive care and other confined clinical areas. The collapsible version lowers its structure for forward visibility; DRGEM also describes a non-collapsible version with a fixed upper assembly. These are configurations of TOPAZ, not separate products.
Imaging workflow
A 21.5-inch touch console controls a 40 kW generator. The extended arm and column support positioning around patients, while a live camera and software grid assist image acquisition. DRGEM describes tablet-based Smart Control for remote movement, exposure settings, video and voice communication. The manufacturer gives specific rotation and tilt ranges for the column, tube, collimator and transverse arm.
